Question:  How do I control who sees my Member Profile?

Answer: The Member Profile and Sharing Controls allow you to set sharing rules and control what, if any, information in your member profile is shared with people who you have added to your People Directory. 

Click on the 'Profile' link at the top of most every page in the Beecoz service.  You can update your member profile and set your member profile sharing controls from the Profile page.  Your Member Profile includes Listing Information, Personal Information, Family Information and Work Information sections, each with their own member profile sharing controls.   In each section on your Profile page there is also text that reads 'This info visible to:' along with an 'Edit' link and a sharing control icon.

When you click on the 'No one' or 'Edit' links, or on the sharing control icon on the right of the 'Edit' link that appears in each section of your member profile, the Neighbor, Friends, Family, and any user created categories will appear with check boxes for you to check or uncheck.  When you check a category box in the sharing controls and hit the Save button, the people who you assigned to that particular category will be able to view that section of your member profile.  If you remove a check from a category box in the sharing controls and hit the Save button, the people who you assigned to the unchecked box category, assuming the same person is not included in another category where this same box is checked, will not able to view that section of your member profile.  After you hit Save the names of any categories with checked boxes will appear as links at the bottom of each section of your member profile.  Clicking on the category links will take you to page listing all the people who you assigned to that category.
